How I Layered My New Picture Ledge

I’m so excited my wood wall is done! I can’t believe the transformation it gave this entire room! Wow what a huge difference, I’m Loving it! Now that the Wood is up and the ledge is here and installed I thought it would be fun to show you how I layered my frames along with links to frames, prints, rugs and more…

My wall is 144″ long. I wanted one long ledge to layer my frames onto. I found a small Etsy shop and ordered 2- 60″ ledges. I butted them up and it quickly became the 120″ ledge I was looking for!

Let’s get Started!

Start with a blank ledge, I then gathered all the largest frames I was going to use. I have 3- 16×20 frames, so I started there.

From there I choose anther frames that was smaller to add dimension, this one is a 20×20

Next, I added another 16×20 on a horizontal

My goal is to add a variety of size frames, a small 9×9 up front seems perfect!

Last I added in 2- 11×14″ frames to balance it all out

I’ve been getting asked a lot where everything is from so here ya go..
