Office makeover || phase 1

Hey Girl Heyyyyyy

I’m so excited about this office zone 2.0. I used to be in the room next door but my 2 oldest daughters wanted to now share a room so I got the boot. Our house is 3 bedrooms, just a little over 1,000 sf so no matter what I have to share a office in someone’s bedroom, this time around it’s with little Brenna. All I know is when I have a office I am way more focused and productive otherwise I’d ditch the idea and have her enjoy her room to herself. Bonus she’s in the third grade and now has homework. It helps out the situation when it’s on a cute desk! I am really in no rush with this project, I still need to pick out a light fixture and drapes. so far I started with the closet.

Here is what it looked like before.. it originally had bi-fold doors that I look off years ago with it being open it might as well be cute.. Riiiight?

Forever ago I scored this dresser at a thrift shop and obviously never gave it love.. I mean why is there a single knob on there when it has 2 holes? Hahaha!

First things first I took a hammer and busted off the scalloped bottom pc. What a difference it made, looks more modern now and I love it. I then took off the knobs, cleaned and painted it.. My Instagram Highlights has the painting process

+ The entire closet and dresser was painted with a Kelly Moore color called Orchid Lei || KMA37.

+ Ordered gold drawer pulls from Amazon Prime what a HUGE difference!

Storage is always necessary in a small house so why not make it cute? I found these super cute black and white Kate Spade nesting boxes at HomeGoods they not only hold a ton of stuff, they looks super cute too!

Polka dots and my all time favorite ever Stripes .. helllllo cutest ever! The labels can be changed out but I kept what they said because I thought it was cute.. Stow away and Put a lid on it! Of course Homegoods didn’t disappoint with price!

Thanks for stopping by.. I’d love to hear what you think of this zone so far, phase Two coming soon!
